RadioheadRadiohead are returning to Australia for the first time in 15 years in May 2027 – and returning to Perth after almost 30 years.
In case you missed it: on Monday afternoon (7 September), it was confirmed that the British rock icons would finally come back to our shores for a massive tour.
They’ll perform four shows at Perth’s RAC Arena (4, 4, 6, 7 May), six nights at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena (13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 20 May), and six nights at Sydney’s Afterpay Arena (25, 26, 28, 29, 31 May, 1 June).
They’ll also perform a series of shows in Japan. The band’s upcoming tour follows a bunch of residencies performed in European cities last November and December.
Of course, Radiohead are renowned for their spectacular live show, one that’s intense, immersive, and delivers a unique music experience. With so much demand for their long-awaited return, everyone wants to know how to get tickets. So, here’s what you need to know.
There Are No Pre-Sales
Yep, you read that correctly. Usually, especially for shows this big, there are multiple pre-sales, from Telstra to Mastercard to Vodafone to promoter pre-sales.
For Radiohead’s tour, the band aim to give fans fair access to tickets and minimise automated and unauthorised ticket purchases. Access to tickets will be managed through a registration process for both general and accessible tickets.
Registrations opened yesterday, and close at 5 pm AEST on Thursday, 10 September. Every registration entered during this period will be treated the same – there’s no first-in, best-dressed; fans will be chosen randomly.
You can register for access to tickets here – only one form can be submitted, for one city.
Successful Registrants
After fans register for tickets and validate their email address, registrants will receive a success or failure email, determined randomly.
Successful registrants who have completed all required steps will be emailed a purchase link and a unique unlock code, and the “chance to purchase” window will open.
The confirmed pool of successful general ticket registrants will be informed of their opportunity to access the “chance to purchase” window via email from 3 pm AEST on Friday, 11 September, and will receive the next steps.
Unsuccessful applicants will also be advised via email from 3 pm AEST on Friday and will be automatically added to a waitlist for future potential ticket releases.
The “chance to purchase” access emails will be sent from 7 am local time on Tuesday, 15 September, before the purchase window opens. The purchase window opens at 9 am local time on Tuesday, 15 September – that email will contain your purchase link and unique unlock code.

What’s Involved In The Fast Track Status Seating?
Well, we’ll let the band’s statement do the talking:
Welcome to Radiohead's ‘Fast Track Status’, which does not include fast track status, or in fact any kind of status at all. What were you expecting when you signed up for ‘Fast Track Status’ with Radiohead? Of course it doesn't include fast track status.
There is no Business Lounge either.
However, because you have signed up for ‘Fast Track Status’ (which does not include fast track status) you will be eligible for one of the most ergonomic and luxuriously appointed seats that the venue has to offer, as well as a complimentary receptacle of Very Exclusive Items designed by Stanley Donwood & Doktor Tchock, with their customary attention to irrelevance.
We hope that you choke[strikethrough]enjoy the show.
Good luck, everyone. Check out Frontier Touring’s comprehensive FAQ about the shows here.
