Fresh off the release of their debut album, Thirteen Days are set to electrify The Ed Castle on Saturday, 26 September.
Composers Joel Winton and Maxwell Beckett started writing together towards the end of 2022. Coming from different backgrounds in music made finding common ground difficult. Eventually, they found their sound in tastful breakdowns, sweet melodies and punchy choruses
Over the last few years the three have been working on their first release, the Winter Album. It was decided that with this release they wanted to see how far they could go with crafting music. Through taking their time, scraping songs and constantly
rewriting, the Winter Album was born.
Joining them we have Adelaide alt-rock outfit Larsen who are known for delivering explosive tracks bursting with overdriven guitars, punchy riffs and aching lyrics. Since 2015, Larsen have made their mark on the Australian alt-rock scene, collecting a huge back catalogue of releases charged with their distinctive brand of energetic grunge and lyrical angst.
Following a two year break from music releases, Larsen are in the midst of unveiling their sophomore album, an 11-track LP titled ‘Happy Accidents'. Featuring a spectrum of sounds and influences from their collective range of music tastes, 'Happy Accidents' showcases the full breadth of song writing lessons they've learned over their decade as an active band in the Australian music scene.”
If the bill wasn't stacked enough we have Adelaide based power trio The Unset, who have become a distinctive voice in Australia’s alternative and progressive rock landscape. Fusing the dynamics of modern alt-rock with textured experimentation, the band strikes a rare balance between accessibility and artistic
depth—drawing comparisons to Oceansize, A Perfect Circle, and The Butterfly Effect.
Their reputation as an engaging live act has seen them share stages with Cog, sleepmakeswaves, Caligula's Horse, Khan and The Mark Of Cain. In 2025, a last-minute call-up to support, Karnivool cemented the band’s rising profile, earning critical praise and a new wave of fans.
Three of some of the best Adelaide has to offer! The Ed Castle has you Grandfinal after party sorted, you don't want to miss this one..
