Norwegian duo Smerz make their long-awaited Australian debut at Freo.Social on 25 February 2026, celebrating their new album Big City Life (2025). With their moody avant-pop, minimalist production and hypnotic, almost-whispered vocals, the pair have built a significant cult following for music that drifts between club culture, performance art and late-night introspection.

Smerz have earned major international acclaim for their distinctive sound, and they’re now in Australia for a limited run of shows and festival appearances, offering a rare chance to step into their lucid, slow-burn dream world.

We honour and acknowledge the Whadjuk Nyoongar people as Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and live. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging and recognise that the land and sovereignty has never been ceded.
