DEVOTED TO DISCO is more than just a nightclub event. It’s a celebration of life, love and the golden era of disco, bringing together a welcoming, inclusive crowd, iconic 70s and 80s disco anthems and fabulous performances.

After lighting up dance floors in Sydney, Devoted to Disco is now bringing its glittering disco magic to the Gold Coast for a night of sequins, sing-alongs and non-stop dancing.

Devoted to Disco is the inspired creation of London-born, Sydney-based recording artist, singer and disco diva, Clio.

“I’ve spent the last few years performing at and visiting various club nights and events and I haven’t found one that truly satisfies my disco-loving soul, so I decided to create it myself! My dream for Devoted to Disco is to uplift and unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dance floor under a disco ball. I want to create a safe space where everyone can feel inspired to be themselves. Expect a night of non-stop 70s & 80s disco classics - no house music, just glitter, good vibes and the timeless grooves that make you sing out loud and dance till you drop.”

With legendary local DJ Donna spinning all your favourite 70s and 80s disco classics from icons like Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Sylvester, ABBA and The Bee Gees, Devoted to Disco also features live vocals from Clio and dazzling drag performances, bringing the spirit of Studio 54 straight to Coolangatta.Are you ready to shake your groove thing?

What should I wear?This is your time to shine! Devoted to Disco isn’t a costume party, it’s a celebration of self-expression. Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous! Full 70s glam is most definitely welcome but never required… though sequins and sparkles always earn bonus points ?

Is there a minimum age limit?This is an 18+ event because it is held at a licensed venue. ??

Will there be professional photography and videography?Yes! There will be professional photographers and videographers roaming around capturing fabulous moments throughout the night for our social media, website and future event promotion. ??By purchasing a ticket and attending this event, you consent to being filmed and photographed.

Is the venue accessible?The Balcony is located on the upper level of Coolangatta Hotel and is accessible via lift access. Accessible amenities are available within the venue. If you have specific accessibility requirements or questions prior to attending, please contact the venue directly and our team will be happy to assist.

What is your refund pollicy?Tickets are non-refundable but can be re-sold on third party marketplaces such as Tixel.
